Eat Drink Repeat Venice Food Tour with 10 Tastings and 6 Wines
4.9 / 5 · 1,226 traveler reviews
Sip wine where Ernest Hemingway once did and take a seat in one of the legendary Venice restaurants he loved, where he is believed to have spent time writing. Then follow Venice’s wine story from one glass to the next, visiting 6 famous bars and restaurants frequented by Venetians, each chosen for its character, history and exceptional regional wines. And there’s plenty to discover in those glasses. Few regions of Italy can match the extraordinary winemaking diversity of Veneto : what makes its wines so special? As you taste, uncover why not all Prosecco is created equal for example, and how the region’s distinctive terraced landscapes, and centuries-old winemaking traditions influence what ultimately ends up in your glass. During this tour, you will also taste exclusive wines rarely found commercially, including bottles produced especially for select bars and restaurants, while discovering the unique stories behind them. 13+ food tastings and 6 wines—you’ll leave full and well wined.
