Information we collect

We may receive basic device, browser, referral, and page interaction data through standard web analytics. When you save a trip, we store the trip brief, selected plan, budget, and revision history so the plan can be restored. Browsing and supplier booking do not require an advisor-request form.

Travel supplier websites

Travel suppliers may use cookies or similar technologies to provide availability, process reservations, and support bookings. Their privacy policies apply when you use their services.

Use and retention

We use information to operate the site, respond to inquiries, preserve saved trips, support self-service booking, measure performance, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations. We retain it only as reasonably necessary for those purposes.

Ask 4Vacations (AI assistant)

The Ask box and chat use an AI assistant that answers from our trip catalog. We save the messages you type, with a code made from your connection details instead of your IP address, to improve answers and spot abuse. Please do not type payment, passport or health details. The assistant cannot book anything. Its text goes to our AI provider with data retention and model training switched off. A person confirms every request.

When you send a trip request, an automated model rates how soon you look ready to go, from the trip, the date, the party size and your notes, without your name, email or phone number. Advisors use the rating to decide whom to answer first. It never changes a price or declines a request.

Phone calls about your request

On a trip request form there is a box to let us call you. It is unchecked until you tick it. If you tick it, 4Vacations may call the phone number you gave us about that request, and the call may be made with an AI assistant. If you do not tick it, we will not call you with an AI assistant. We may still email you, and you can still send the request.

Allowing calls is optional and is not needed to book. To withdraw it, reply to any of our emails, write to info@4vacations.com, or say “stop” during a call. We will not call that number again about the request.

When you tick the box we save the exact wording you saw, the date and time, and the phone number, with your request. We keep that record so we can show what you agreed to. We do not share it for marketing.

SMS / text messaging

If you opt in to text messages from 4Vacations at (888) 520-3908, we collect your mobile phone number and a record of your consent: the exact wording you saw, the date and time, and the page you used. We use them to send the travel alerts and trip request updates you asked for.

We do not sell, rent or share your mobile number or SMS opt-in consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
