Stop 1
Get ready to embark on a delicious journey through Verona’s culinary treasures! On this food tour, you’ll discover the city’s most iconic dishes and savory specialties while learning about the rich history behind each dish.
Stop 2
Our first stop is a charming, historic tavern near the Basilica di San Lorenzo, where you’ll indulge in a traditional Veronese aperitif. Enjoy freshly made crostini stuffed with local products, perfectly paired with a glass of fine local wine—an authentic start to your journey.
Stop 3
Next, we visit a modern gastronomy near the UNESCO World Heritage site of Porta Borsari. Here, you’ll sample the quintessential Veronese pasta, a must-try dish that’s become a local favorite. Paired with another glass of local wine, this stop is an essential part of any Verona food lover’s experience.
Stop 4
We continue our tour at a traditional osteria near the stunning Basilica di Santa Anastasia, where you’ll savor one of more iconic dishes of Veronese cuisine: Polemnta with Pastissada, with soppressa, or with cod fish. A full-bodied glass of red wine complements these hearty dishes perfectly.
Stop 5
Finally, we’ll conclude your Verona culinary adventure in the lively Piazza delle Erbe. Here, you’ll indulge in Risino, a delicious dessert from Veronese tradition, or perhaps enjoy a refreshing gelato to cap off the experience.
