Varanasi Sunset Boat Evening Ganga Aarti and Walking Tour
5.0 / 5 · 3 traveler reviews
This tour is unique because it thoughtfully combines three iconic Varanasi experiences into one seamless journey—an evening boat ride, the grand Ganga Aarti, and a guided walk through the old city. The experience begins on the River Ganga at sunset, offering a peaceful boat ride with panoramic views of historic ghats, temples, and palaces glowing in golden light. Watching daily life and rituals from the water provides a rare and calm perspective of the city. You then witness the Ganga Aarti from a prime viewpoint, where synchronized chants, lamps, bells, and incense create a powerful spiritual atmosphere. Experiencing the aarti as part of a guided tour adds deeper meaning through stories, symbolism, and local insight. The tour concludes with a guided walk through the ancient lanes of Old Varanasi, where you explore hidden temples, vibrant markets, and living traditions away from the crowds.
