Marlborough Ultimate Day Out puts the Marlborough Sounds and Marlborough wine into one full day with The Original Marlborough Wine Tours. The morning is a Beachcomber Cruises catamaran trip from Picton to Ship Cove and back. The afternoon is ours: a shared lunch platter at Saint Clair Vineyard Kitchen and tastings at 2-3 wineries, standard tasting fees included. The cruise is the shared Beachcomber Ship Cove run, not a private charter. It also carries Queen Charlotte Track walkers and luggage, so in peak summer it can stop at several bays on the way back. Staying in Blenheim? We collect you between 8.00am and 8.15am and drive you to Picton; this transfer costs more. Staying in Picton? Meet at the Beachcomber Cruises office on London Quay. The tour day runs from 9am to 4.30pm. Marlborough is known for Sauvignon Blanc. Family-run, with wine tours in Marlborough since 1999 and a Qualmark Gold award. Minimum 4 guests to go ahead.

Stop 1
Pickup (Blenheim option): your Blenheim accommodation, 8.00am to 8.15am. We collect you and drive you to Picton for the cruise.
Stop 2
Meeting point (Picton option): Beachcomber Cruises. Queen Charlotte Cruise & Track Adventures, London Quay (existing Viator entity). Meet at the Beachcomber Cruises office on the Picton waterfront.
Stop 3
Cruise through the Marlborough Sounds to Ship Cove with Beachcomber Cruises, then back to Picton. Carries Queen Charlotte Track walkers and luggage; may stop at bays on the return in peak summer.
Stop 4
Your wine tour guide meets you for the drive into the Marlborough wine region.
Stop 5
Wine tasting and a shared Marlborough lunch platter, both included.
Stop 6
Marlborough Vineyards. Afternoon tastings at rotating Marlborough cellar doors, standard tasting fees included. Across the day you taste at 2-3 wineries.

- If the weather for the cruise looks poor, we will contact you the day before to check whether you are happy to go or would prefer to change to another tour.
