Walking Food Tour of Florence with Tastings and Wine
4.8 / 5 · 553 traveler reviews
This walking food tour is designed to discover and taste the gastronomic side of Florence, among the most appreciated by Italians. The city will surprise you for the variety and richness of its flavors, recipes and wines. Our gastronomic tour around Sant’Ambrogio neighborhood – away from the big crowds yet in the city centre, where you’ll find mostly locals – is designated to make you enjoy the authentic flavors of this city in every bite, enriching it with stories and anecdotes and taking you only in the best places where locals usually go. The journey includes ancient specialties such us cecina or lampredotto, excellent wines and new flavours in wineries and small restaurants. The secret of our tastiest and most authentic perspective of Tuscan cuisine is a very simple recipe: knowing where to go and the city culinary heritage; employing only passionate food-lovers, licensed tour guides; respecting the local producers, as well as the food richness of this unique city.
