No flags and no fixed route: you explore Osaka at your own pace with a local guide who knows every backstreet, food stall, and hidden corner. Before the tour we ask about your interests, from street food and local bars to retro arcades, photo spots, or nightlife, and we design a custom route just for your group. The sample stops below (Osaka Castle, Kuromon Market, Shinsekai, Dotonbori, Den Den Town) are only a starting point. Your route, your pace, and how long you walk (4 to 6 hours) are up to you, and we adjust as we go. Osaka's iconic retro tower is the symbol of Shinsekai. Walk the surrounding area and soak in the nostalgic atmosphere. *please note that we do not go inside the tower.
Stop 2
A retro entertainment district frozen in time. Old-school game arcades, kushikatsu restaurants, and Janjan Yokocho alley.
Stop 3
The neon heart of Osaka. The Glico Man sign, canal views, and some of Japan's best street food all in one strip.
Stop 4
Osaka's famous 580m covered market. Fresh seafood, local produce, and incredible street food stalls.
Stop 5
Start your day at one of Japan's most famous landmarks. Walk through the castle park, take in the views from the stone walls, and hear the stories of the samurai era. Optional: enter the castle museum (admission separate, around 1200 yen).
Stop 6
Osaka's answer to Akihabara. Retro game shops, anime stores, figure collectors' paradise. Optional: visit a maid cafe with an additional fee for a uniquely Japanese experience.
