Your experience
Stop 1
The Lesotho Day Tour kicks off from either Underberg or Himeville. Departure times may vary depending on where your guesthouse is situated.
Stop 2
We’ll make a brief stop at the South African Border Post – situated at the base of the Sani Pass.
Stop 3
This day trip to Lesotho offers an unforgettable journey through the iconic Sani Pass into the Mountain Kingdom, showcasing the unique wild life and breathtaking landscapes of Sani Pass and Lesotho.
Stop 4
On reaching the summit we will make another brief stop to stamp passports at the Lesotho Border Post. Do some local curio shopping & visit an authentic Basotho home.
Stop 5
Visit Black Mountain & the Thabana Ntlenyana view point.
Stop 6
We arrive for a tour around the bustling trading town of Mokhotlong.
Stop 7
Visit the secluded village of Makhapung, meet the local traditional healer and get to witness an authentic ceremonial dance.
Stop 8
Enjoy a late lunch at either the Highest Pub in Africa or a local Basotho restaurant (the choice is yours) before we begin our descent down the Sani Pass.
Stop 9
We begin our descent back down the Sani Pass.
Stop 10
Arrive back in Underberg / Himeville
