Experience the beauty beneath the waves on our Turtle & Shipwreck Cruise, departing from the stunning Carlisle Bay on Barbados’ southwest coast. Carlisle Bay is a beautiful crescent-shaped bay known for its calm, crystal-clear waters and thriving marine life. Beneath the surface, you may encounter colorful tropical fish, seahorses, rays, octopus, and sea turtles. The bay is also home to six historic shipwrecks, creating a fascinating underwater environment and an unforgettable adventure for snorkelers. This 80-minute cruise includes snorkeling at one shipwreck and a visit to the turtle-feeding area, where you’ll have the opportunity to swim alongside these incredible creatures. Please note that marine life sightings vary from day to day. While turtles are commonly seen, the number can vary greatly—you may see several turtles or just one. On very rare occasions, turtles may not be spotted. As these are wild animals, sightings cannot be guaranteed.

Meeting and pickup
If you do not select the transfer option, you will need to make your own way to the meeting location and arrive 20 minutes before your scheduled cruise departure time. The boat is docked along the boardwalk on the seaside, near Carlisle House.
Before you go
- Not recommended for travelers with spinal injuries
- Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
- A minimum of two adults is required for this tour to operate.
- Cruise ship passengers must provide their cruise ship name, docking time, disembarkation time and all-aboard time when booking.

- This transport option is available to cruise ship passengers only. The pickup point is located inside the port, which is a restricted area accessible only to guests with valid cruise ship cards.
- With the 10:00 am or 11:15 am pickup, you’ll have 45 minutes to 2 hours to enjoy Carlisle Bay before your cruise departs. Relax on the beach, take a swim, or unwind at the beach bar before setting sail.

- Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Please be aware that some of our island roads can be winding and bumpy, which may contribute to motion sickness. We understand that motion sickness can occur unexpectedly, and our team will do its best to ensure your comfort. However, we must also consider the comfort of other guests and maintain the cleanliness of our vehicles. Should vomiting occur inside the vehicle and professional cleaning be required, the guest responsible will be required to reimburse the driver for cleaning before the end of the tour.
