Private Traditional Sailboat Tour of the Conero Riviera
5.0 / 5 · 28 traveler reviews

Why choose the DonMar? Because no other boat in Numana can offer the same tailor-made and authentic sailing experience, without sacrificing comforts, like cushy seats and a freshwater shower. This is both an old-fashioned and classy choice for an unforgettable tour. My boat can accommodate up to 6 passengers, which means that every trip will be intimate and will be tailored according to your desires. If you choose the option to also have food on board you'll be served a mixed platter of local cold cuts, cheeses and Ascoli olives accompanied by local artisanal beer or wine. The tour description is a general template, and within the 3.5 hours we'll be at sea you will be free to choose your favourite spot to drop anchor for a swim. If the wind allows, along the way you'll be able to see how a traditional sailing boat is rigged and manoeuvred! It will be my concern to make sure that you will fondly remember your time on the DonMar for years to come.
Your experience
Stop 1
The two nicest and smaller beaches underneath the town of Numana are La Spiaggiola and the Spiaggia del Frate. We'll sail past them immediately after leaving the Numana port.
Stop 2
Sirolo's most popular beach
Stop 3
Sirolo's Largest beach, immediately before the rugged coastline of the Monte Conero
Stop 4
The best beach in Sirolo, with white pebbles and crystalline water.
Stop 5
The most famous wild beach in Le Marche, easily recognizable thanks to the two triangular sea stacks (the titular "Two Sisters") that raise from the water, this small pebble beach just under the Monte Conero is only accessible by boat.
Stop 6
Probably the most beautiful, secluded cove of the Conero Riviera
Stop 7
The most popular destination north of the Monte Conero, this bay has been a mooring point for sailors for centuries. We will stop next to the Il Trave reef, and you'll have the occasion to jump in the water and explore it with snorkelling equipment.
Stop 8
The Conero Riviera's largest public beach, free from beach clubs and big crowds, it's the destination for those who want to spend the day on a wild beach, between the sea and the Mediterranean brushes that overlook it. At the end of the Mezzavalle beach, closing the bay of Portonovo, there's a long reef called Il Trave (the Beam). This 800-meters long rock formation closes the bay and creates a quiet area which will be perfect to stop and have a refreshing swim. Swimming next to il Trave is also the best option if you desire to do some snorkelling, as you'll have the chance to see some marine life in the nooks and crannies of this huge underwater rock formation.
