Your experience
Stop 1
Aomori Gyosai Center is a lively local market in central Aomori where you can experience the city’s seafood culture in the most hands-on way. It is especially famous for its one-of-a-kind “Nokke-don” experience, where you buy meal tickets and build your own seafood rice bowl by choosing toppings stall by stall. Instead of ordering a fixed menu, you explore the market, pick what looks best that day, and create a bowl that is completely personal—fresh, local, and unique to your visit. This interactive style of dining is what makes Aomori Gyosai Center a must-visit spot for travelers who want to taste Japan’s market culture from the inside.
