New Zealands North Island offers contrasting opportunities for any traveller. Your first stop is Auckland - a modern city set on a stunning harbour with great shopping and many activities, vibrant Auckland has something for everyone.

Travel south through the rich farmland of the Waikato region. Stop in the historic township of Rangiriri, once the site of a Maori fortification where fierce land battles were fought between the Maori and the British troops. Continue on through the "Bridge City" of Hamilton arriving in Waitomo, to experience the world famous Waitomo Glowworm Caves.

Begin your unique guided tour through the long galleries and lofty chambers to view stalactites formed over thousands of years by the constant dripping of water. End with a boat ride through the glowworm grotto that is illuminated by thousands of tiny lights emitted by glowworms, suspended from the cave ceiling.

Follow the Waikato River to Lake Karapiro on your way to Rotorua.
En route, enter the Fitzgerald Glade, a section of the highway where the native bush grows right up to the roadside and the trees form a canopy over head like a tunnel. The journey finally takes you up over the Mamaku Saddle and descends into the breathtaking city of Rotorua.

Fly to the South Island arriving in the Adventure Capital of New Zealand, Queenstown. This amazing city offers a diverse number of experiences. From bungy jumping to arts trails, there are literally hundreds of attractions to choose from.

Nestled in the World Heritage Fiordland National Park, Milford Sound has been described as one of the Natural Wonders of the World. Discover the beautiful scenery of this famous fiord, including the awe-inspiring Mitre Peak and stunning waterfalls that crash down into the serene waters. Wildlife such as dolphins, seals and penguins are often seen in their natural environment.
