 The
Westin Regina Resort opened in 1992 as the crown jewel of Marina
Vallarta, the city's newest and most exclusive beach community.The
21 acres grounds claim almost 900 feet of beach beside Marina
Vallarta's harbor, with a front row seat on Bahia de Banderas, the
largest bay in Mexico. The renowned Mexican Architect Javier Sordo
Madaleno designed Westin's grounds and buildings to take the best
advantage of the beach and 600 palm trees still standing from the
days of a coconut plantation.
Madaleno used traditional Mexican forms and materials for the
buildings in this tropical wonderland. The exteriors' natural woods,
tile, stone and terra-cotta tones create a warm understated welcome. Inside, he accented many of the
walls with a rainbow of colors like aqua, pink, lavender and ochre.
The result brings the sunshine in while lending a sophisticated
Mexican feel to the decor.

ROYAL BEACH CLUB ROOM
Located on the 12th. and 14th. floor
with an exclusive Ocean View Premier Lounge. All ocean view rooms
are very spacious and feature elegant Mexican dicor, private
balcony, air conditioning with individual temperature control,
tropical ceiling fans, direct dial phones, coffee maker, electronic
safety locks, in-room safes, sprinklers/smoke detector system, color
satellite T.V. in-room music, well stocked mini bar, full line of
fine bath amenities, full bath tub, separate shower, bathrobe and
hairdryer. Rooms are available with one king size bed or two double
beds. Guest are provided with Continental Breakfast, daily
newspaper, 2 hours of open domestic bar from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm with
hour's d'oeuvres and concierge.
 Activities
Westin's guests dive into
every water activity under the sun. The resort's four sparkling
swimming pools meander through a grove of feathery palms,
alternating with lawns, flower beds and sun decks trimmed in white
lounge chairs.
On the beach you can spend your time parasailing, windsurfing,
riding a wave runner, swimming or if you like, you could take a
scuba diving or deep sea fishing tour.
Land sports begin with tennis on the three lighted
grass-composition courts and go on to golf at nearby (2970 ft.)
"Marina Vallarta Club de Golf", par 72 a private 18-hole
championship course.

With a spacious, sunlit terrace and a view of the hotel gardens, El
Palmar Restaurant offers a sumptuous buffet. The only problem is how
to choose from such a variety of dishes. Sundays, we offer the best

our gourmet customers).

Garibaldi's
Under a giant "Palapa roof" with ocean view. Specializing in
high-class seafood and service, Garibaldi Restaurant offers fine
dining in a unique marine decor that helps your imagination soar,
far beyond the nearby beach. Open from 1:00 PM to 11:00 PM in season
and from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM in low season

Cascada
The relaxing sound of 5 waterfalls is the background music in this
Lobby Bar, open from 12:00 PM through 1:00 AM. It offers refreshing
cocktails, live music, and is the ideal point of departure for a
shopping spree in the hotel's boutiques.
Tenampa & Tlaquepaque
These swimming pool bars are open from 10:00 AM through 6:00 PM and
offer a wide array of snacks, cocktails, beer and other
thirst-quenching delights.
